The Tortugas are crowdsourcing for wacky promo ideas on Twitter.
- Most Dangerous Idea: Disco Demolition Anniversary Celebration
- Most Offensive to your Mascot: Turtle Soup night
- Best Idea: Free Beer Night
Actually the best idea might have been from Drew McDonald: NASCAR inspired uniforms in honor of Daytona 500. Every Tortugas sponsor takes up space on the uniform. Members of the starting lineup arrive on the field in stock cars.
Fun to see what fans come up with. We looked at the benefits of asking fans to drive ideas in a recent article on Crowdsourcing Content.
We would like to hear your wackiest promo ideas. Like so wacky that no non-wacky team would attempt them. You have one week. pic.twitter.com/UHwO08uvGD
