The Tortugas are crowdsourcing for wacky promo ideas on Twitter.

  • Most Dangerous Idea: Disco Demolition Anniversary Celebration
  • Most Offensive to your Mascot: Turtle Soup night
  • Best Idea: Free Beer Night

Actually the best idea might have been from Drew McDonald: NASCAR inspired uniforms in honor of Daytona 500. Every Tortugas sponsor takes up space on the uniform. Members of the starting lineup arrive on the field in stock cars.
