Virtual Waving on FOX

FOX is replacing fans with virtual reality. We know that because they are all doing the wave during pre-game.

No fans, no problems says FOX TV. Virtual reality fans are coming to a TV near you.

This month on the Party in the Back Podcast we will look how several leagues are addressing the lack of fans at the venue. Audio prompts, cardboard cutouts, logos, virtual reality and all things in between.

On TV Fox thought it was important enough to augment reality with fans who react to the action. Their motives aren’t game related, but highlight the value of fans and how quiet stadiums feel without the energy provided by fans.

Gameops.com Plus is a network to enhance the fan value of events.  Twice a month we gather for an hour-long discussion on an industry topic with a special guest to share their insights. Leaders like Zack Frongillo (Savannah Bananas), Steve Johnston (Kroenke Sports), Claire Czerniuk (Detroit Pistons), Zoltan Berensci (Harlem Globetrotters), John Franzone (Tampa Bay Lightning), Tyler Ferraro (Vegas Golden Knights), Maurice Brazelton (Sacramento Kings), Jackie Maldonado (Houston Texans), Todd Bosma (Portland Trail Blazers), and Anton Wright (MLSE) have discussed a wide range of industry topics.   Free One Month Trial is available now on Gameops.com PLUS.
