People talk a lot about analytics taking over sports, and clearly it is big in Spokane.
The CHL team had a big night on December 7th and clarified it all in one easy to follow chart for fans (see above). Their night included a trifecta of attractions: Feast night, Teddy Bear Toss and a game against a rival.
Family Feast Nights : The Chiefs offer a range of highly affordable concession items, including:
- $1 popcorn
- $1 Coca-Cola products (12 oz. cans)
- $1.50 hot dogs
- $2 licorice rope
- $2 popsicles (Fudgsicle®-style)
“We’re excited to be able to expand the menu for Chiefs fans and offer more items at discounted rates, including the long-awaited return of popcorn to the list,” said vice president of sponsorships Jay Stewart. “The addition of the popsicle and licorice rope also gives us a couple great value dessert options.”
The game was also a big rivalry game against the hated Tri-City Americans.
Finally the game was Spokane’s night for the Teddy Bear Toss. The team drew 10,422 for the night, which is about double their average. Take that for data.
