My pop-culture friends tell me that the latest craze is throwing axes.  Despite the better advice of insurance adjusters everywhere people are having a couple beers and then throwing sharp axes for the fun of it (and I do hear it is fun).

So this isn’t the first time a team has served up some cold beer and handed fans throwable sharp objects (see Fresno Grizzlies for that), and it won’t be the last….but AAF Utah Stallions dipped their toe in the the axe tossing craze recently. In this case its a player appearance at a local establishment, but can axe throwing at the 50 yard line be far behind?

I prefer to leave this up to the professionals, more like the Portland Sea Dogs did last summer.
