If you follow us here you know I am big fan of the untraditional mascot program with Portland’s Timbers. Their real live Lumberjack character is the embodiment of the team and their culture. They have found countless ways to weave what a lumberjack does into a mechanism to stoke fan passion. It’s really an incredible program.
