Affiliate Nights are a great way to connect the parent team, and teams are finding ways to utilize part of the show from the big league teams in their presentation to great effect.
Last year we saw the Milwaukee Admirals host their parent club mascot as part of their big night, and this year….the Reading Royals are bringing in internet darling Gritty for photos and likely a little chaos on their Affiliation Night.
Looks like the Mini-Gritty sighting reported here last year was just a taste of things to come in Reading.
Fun stuff….assuming he still isn’t giving you nightmares.
