Vamos Gatos! in Miami

Miami’s NHL team continues Spanish activations.

The Florida Panthers continue to pursue a connect with the Hispanic Community, adding an audio stream and themed promotions like Vamos Gatos (“Let’s Go Cats!).

The promotion on January 14th with include live Hispanic music, dancers, live painting, food trucks, dominoes, and a t-shirt giveway (design has not yet been released).

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Chief Strategy Officer Sam Doerr today announced the launch of an exclusive new ¡Vamos Gatos! Spanish play-by-play audio stream powered by ProWire, which will now be offered at select Panthers home games at FLA Live Arena.

The live Spanish broadcast feed will be hosted by Senior Contributor to, the National Hockey League’s official Spanish-language site and ESPN Deportes Miami Radio alum Octavio Sequera and will be available to in-arena fans exclusively through the FLA Live Arena mobile application.

To listen live, Panthers fans can simply connect to the FLA Live Arena free WiFi using an iOS or Android device and click on the app’s ‘Listen Live From Your Seat’ feature.

“Through our existing partnership with ProWire, fans in the arena can easily access live action play-by-play commentary from their seats with just a click of a button,” said Doerr. “As hispanic participation within the sport of hockey continues to grow in South Florida, the ¡Vamos Gatos! ProWire audio stream offers an engaging new way for our Spanish-speaking fans to enhance the real-time in-game experience at FLA Live and maximize excitement amongst a more diverse fanbase.”
