White Out the Weekend in Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne whites out a full weekend. We look at why and the origins of this this powerful promotion, along with insight on how it was shaped by a partner’s business goals.

White out Weekend in Fort Wayne.  Incredible sweaters to help set the tone and the call to action for fans to take part by dressing in all white.

Also appreciate the two-for-one promotion getting two games out of the custom gear and spreading the fun over the full weekend.

Komet’s Executive VP/Co-Owner Scott Sproat explains the real business reason behind the more “Our partner Tredway Pools Plus has two separate and distinct lines of business. They’re a complete outdoor recreation company (pools, patio, spas, grills, etc.) in addition to offering indoor recreation (game room, billiards, etc.). Komets are showcasing their outdoor lines/offerings on the first night and their indoor product lines on the second night. Just an example of working with a client to provide solutions tailored to their needs with the added benefit of hopefully raising additional/more money for the charity of their choice (Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne) as well through the silent auction of the jerseys promoted over the back-to-back games.”

Sproat is hopeful there is momentum on the second for fans to wear all-white to enhance the promotion as an added perk for the promotional effort.

The White Out is a powerful promotion at its peak.  We took a look at its origins in this story, check it out:
