This (non-staged) proposal was for one of the Jazz Dancers, with everyone else on the team totally in on the joke.
Watch as the victim thinks she’s completely out of step (which she is), then watch her turn from confused to terrified, then the music change clues her in that some is up and finally the actual music portends what’s coming.
Then see the joy.
Really wonderful showcase by the Jazz that is clever and sweet, and never drops the ball on the focus of entertaining the crowd.
