The Hornets are finding new ways to make fans take notice of their dancers.

We talked a lot about the modern evolving version of the Dance team with Amanda Greco on the March 2019 Podcast.  Sexualization of dancers is clearly passé and teams are shifting to co-ed teams and a focus more on the talent of the performer than merely their appearance. Along with a shift to less revealing outfitting and an emphasis on performers well-rounded skills off court.

With all of that in mind, I really liked this post from the Charlotte Honeybees Dance team showing the women of the team in the community applying their love for dance and fitness to helping people, notably seniors, use dance as a way to be active and fit.

Great use of the team in the community and a way to promote the talents and passions of the performer in a more modern way.
