Of course we love when teams create unique experiences like unrolling your mat in the outfield and striking your best crow pose. Here the Richmond Flying Squirrels continue their annual yoga event. $15 for an 75 minute yoga class and a ticket to the game
Get your asanas to the outfield for a yoga class with Project Yoga Richmond on the home turf of the Richmond Flying Squirrels. This event supports Project Yoga Richmond’s pay-what-you-can yoga studio and outreach programs for youth, seniors, children and adults with various abilities, individuals in recovery, incarcerated men and women, domestic violence and human trafficking survivors and more.
This year also included a mascot visit to the host yoga studio where Nutzy could spread his wings and help promote the event.
And for those who need a little peace in this stressful time, I share this invitation to the Down Dog Yoga App, which is an excellent app for a quick dose of yoga right from your phone.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many people are avoiding gathering in large groups, including at yoga studios and other fitness spaces. We believe that stressful times like these are precisely when people need wellness practices the most, and we are committed to doing our part to help out.
So that anyone who wants to practice at home can do so, we are making all of our apps – Down Dog, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, and 7 Minute Workout – completely free until April 1st, 2020. You can learn more about all five of these apps at https://www.downdogapp.com/
Nutzy had a blast practicing yoga with our friends at @projectyogarva last night!
Want to do yoga on the field? Join us on April 19th for our annual Om Run: Yoga on the Field event. 🧘🧘♀️
