Teams are coming for you Hershey.
Minor league hockey teams (and some others) are building on successful Teddy Bear Tosses and the numbers continue to amaze. The latest team to post an incredible in-house record number was the Colorado Eagles. They recently dropped 8,400 BEARS for their toss.
The current record seems safe….for now, but we love watching teams continue to grow this amazing promotion.
According to the Bears, the 52,341 teddy bears and stuffed animals collected breaks their previous world record of 45,765, which they set the last time they held the event in 2019.
The reigning champions of bear tossing has their date coming up after the new year.
“The Bears’ wildly popular Teddy Bear Toss Night, nicknamed Sweet Cuddly Mayhem after Zack Fisch’s famous call, returns on Sunday, January 29 at 3 PM against the Bridgeport Islanders. (Russian Machine Never Breaks)”
Of course we will be watching, ready to update the record book. For more on the Teddy Bear phenomenon, check this:
