I love this topical poke by the Dallas Stars last weekend.

After a press flap over the estimated size of the Trump Inauguration Speech Crowd, and the general overestimation of crowds at public events the Dallas Star presented their estimated attendance for their weekend game at….

1.5 million.

Two additional benefits for the Star’s top shelf joke.

1.  They were playing the team from Washington DC

2.  They had some political cover since the joke covered both parties, since many thought the crowds for the Women’s March that weekend were also inflated.
