Buffalo Crossover

What do you get when you cross a Bison and a Bandit? Ask the fans in Buffalo…

Crossover Nights are a great addition to a promotional calendar, often used by groups who own multiple teams in a market.

Here the Bisons linked up with the local Buffalo Bandits to cross promote baseball and lacrosse.

The designs are in for the Bisons first ever Lacrosse Night at the Ballpark on Friday, July 22, presented by Roswell Park Cancer Institute and they are as rockin’ as the Banditland is on a Saturday night at the arena.

You won’t want to keep these designs in a B-O-X as the Lacrosse Night Cap and Jersey are a Bandits-inspired spin on some classic Herd logos. The ‘Swirling B’ is back on the Lacrosse Night Cap, but this time it’s a lacrosse ball whipped across the front of the B by a stick. The purple cap has a while facing and a orange bill as the Bisons mimic the color scheme of the most exciting team in lacrosse! For the jersey, ‘Sliding Buster’ from the team’s championship season in 2004 has also taken on the Bandits orange and purple color scheme over a Orange, Black and White jersey!

The On-Field 5950, Flex Fit 3930 and Adjustable 920 Caps are now in stock and can be purchased at or at the Ballpark. You can also pre-order your Lacrosse Night Jerseys and Specialty T-Shirts now online.

Stay tuned as more great Lacrosse Night event details are to be announced. Lacrosse Night is also a Honda fridaynightbash!, meaning the night begins with the pre-game Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour from 5-6:30pm with great craft beers for only $4 each. No ‘Bash’ is complete without an amazing postgame Fireworks Show!

These nights pull in fans from both sports and give the in-game show something to work with for contest and promotions. Plus the team used alternative jerseys for fundraising and sales.
