The pandemic has limited teams in playoff runs from Watch Party madness. Most NBA and NHL teams have been hosting viewing parties with sold out arenas for years, allowing for a game operations showcase unencumbered by players and the timing needs of television.
This year’s watch parties are more low-key events like this one in Milwaukee with a small number of socially distanced fans taking in the game in style.
