ASL for MILB

MILB is celebrating Deaf Awareness Month with a special shirt with proceeds going to charity.

MILB is celebrating Deaf Awareness Month with a special shirt with proceeds going to charity. Deaf Awareness Nights have become an effective game night promotion and community for several teams… see below for more details.

Deaf Awareness Nights have earned some top honors recently, including a Promotion of the Year by Ballpark Digest.

There are times when a Minor League Baseball team uses a promotion to go above and beyond for the greater good. That was certainly the case this year with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (High A; Carolina League), whose Deaf Awareness Night has been chosen as our 2018 Promotion of the Year

We have covered a few of these at the Water Cooler as well, including the Pawsox use of Curtis Pride, a former MLB player who is deaf.
