Alt Teddy Bear Toss in Erie

The Erie Otters host a Teddy Bear toss, but that’s not the only time they are asking fans to toss things on the ice. The team has added a Sock Toss to their promo calendar. Recently the team asked fans to toss socks, gloves, & underwear to support the Erie City Mission at a game.

The toss may lack a clever name (as of now, ha) but it has heart and is filling a need in the city. Great post showing the appreciation of the Mission for what is hopefully a new tradition in Erie.

This morning, our team delivered the over-1700 pairs of socks, gloves, & underwear tossed by our fans on Saturday night to @ErieCityMission.

These items will help the Otters' & ECM's fight to eradicate poverty in the Erie Community.
