A basketball shootout. Use the balls as you would a regular ball in a standard shootout or position the balls around the court and give contestants points according to the balls. The billiard basketball can be used for any basketball shootout the same way the Money Ball or Dollar Balls (also featured on Gameops.com Spotlights) can be used.
Promotion Idea #2
While talking to a minor league hockey team recently they told us about a promotion where they just toss out billiard style balls to the crowd for a sponsor promotion. Like the Beach Ball Lottery drop, the fans who catch the balls can return them to a booth on the concourse for a prize from the sponsor. For sponsors like pool table retailers and home entertainment stores, this can be an interesting addition.
Note on the Balls we offer on the Gameops.com Store: While we have a good inventory of the balls, we buy them in bulk and do not have control over what we get as far as the numbers of the balls. We initially wanted to sell in complete sets of 15 balls, however in our full inventory of balls we don't have one complete set (it seems some of the colored balls are not made from our manufacturer). So we are offering these in kits of 6 and 10 balls. Each will have an eight ball and an assortment of other balls.
