USB Drives
USB drives have so many options, teams and marketers are finding creative ways to utilize this flexibility for fan giveaways, media resources and season ticket holder giveaways.
A USB flash drive consists of a NAND-type flash memory data storage device integrated with a USB (universal serial bus) interface. USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable, much smaller than a floppy disk (1 to 4 inches or 2.5 to 10 cm), and most USB flash drives weigh less than an ounce. Storage capacities typically range from 64 MB to 64 GB with steady improvements in size and price per gigabyte. Some allow 1 million write or erase cycles[3][4] and have 10-year data retention. come in literally all shapes and sizes, allowing tremendous

The Orlando Magic significantly cut the print quantity of their 2008-09 media guide by providing the press corps with a USB drive version of the team's annual statistical and biographical book. The 352-page media guide will be available on a 128-mega byte memory stick, which can be plugged into any computer. This USB Drive project will cut printing by at least 3,000 copies, and is a significant part of the Magic's overall "green" program. (from Team PR)
