Can you make your point in seven letters or less? Vanity plates are not just for the road anymore, they have proven to be a hit with sports fans. Many teams have added this inexpensive premium item to their list of giveaways. We also feature license plate frames in the spotlight.
One popular late-season plate features your player and a call for MVP (both Minnesota basketball teams used it to promote their MVP candidates (KG4 MVP and KT4 MVP (Katie Smith). Some teams use paper for the plates, which is less costly, but not durable and will not hold the same collectible value that a poly/plastic plate holds.
We have a link below to over 1,000 vanity plates, some of which may help you create an interesting plate for your team/player. We have also created some sample plates (using the ACME License Plate Generator) with some ideas, including a teaser plate for Alex Rodriguez, a Kevin Garnett plate and a plate commemorating Shaquille O'Neal's 10,000th career point.
We carry plates in 15, 25 or 45 mil thickness. 25 is similar to a credit card thickness, 45 is thicker and more durable. 45 mil plates are often used by car dealerships as temporary plates.
Plates typically take about 10 days from approved artwork for production, but we can also do a 3-day RUSH print (RUSH charges apply). We request complete artwork created in vector format for accurate and crisp reprinting. Plates are 12 by 6 inches, which is the standard license plate size.
Plate costs increase with each added color. Minimum order is 100 plates. We do not stock or sell any individual plates. Per plate costs decrease with added volume.

License Plate Frames
We also have license plate frames. Frames come in 2 or 4 holes with room for license plate stickers. Frames are more suitable for actual use on cars, but are not as effective as in-stadium pieces or as collectibles.
Plate frames are less expensive, usually around $.50 each for 1-color imprinting on quantities of 1,000 or more. Use the form below for more information.
