Like rally towels, inflatable noise makers and pompoms, megaphones are a sports staple. Easy to distribute, good printing options, inexpensive, and often quick-turnaround times are available.
Plastic Megaphones
Plastic megaphones are the most common premium giveaway style. Most range from 6 to 9 inches and there are a few style variations like a curved edge and popcorn caps. Imprinting can be done on one side or two in some cases and multiple color imprinting is possible.
When printing on megaphones, there are also options regarding which way the imprint is set. Often referred to by the position that you hold the megaphone (such as "upright", "display" or "yelling"). A TEAMmate sales representative can help you with your layout and design with your order.
Note: Due to the steep taper of megaphones, multicolor imprints are one side only and close registration cannot be guaranteed.
Board Stock Paper Megaphones
You also can save money by using a paper stock megaphone. Made from 14 point board stock (poster board), these megaphones are folded out into a megaphone.
These megaphones are less expensive to print and ship. They print all sides. These also can be printed with designs suitable to be colored in by fans or as blanks, allowing fans to make their own message on their megaphone. This can be a great tool for teams using interactive concourse stations for young fans.
