What is a Prize Parachute™?
Prize Parachutes™ are small one piece tangle-free parachutes that can be dropped from catwalks and overhangs to fans below. These chutes are small 18" nylon pieces with a small metal hook for attaching coupons or prizes. These chutes are not large enough to use for dropping t-hisrts. (the JUMBO chutes are large enough for that). These are good for soft prizes and coupons with a weight limit of about 3 oz.. We recommend testing any objects first.

What sizes do they come in?
18” diameter for the smaller chutes and JUMBO chutes are ;56” diameter.

What colors are available?
For custom orders we can do most standard colors. PMS color matches may not be possible, but we can come close on most colors. Imprinting can be in any PMS color.

Where do we ship from?
We ship our orders from our production facility in CHINA. We quote pricing based on international overnight and 3-week deliver. If you have 6-8 weeks we can quote your order based on less expensive OCEAN freight (pending the order size, ask for details)

What is the maximum number of Parachutes I can order?
There is no maximum, we'll make as many as you can handle. Discounts for higher quantities.

What discounts do I get on larger orders?
There are price breaks at 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10k and 25k pieces. Orders that are larger than 1,000 will be quoted upon request with subsequent discounts.

How many colors can I imprint on the custom orders?
Due to the surface of the chutes we limit the imprint colors to 2 colors.

What is safe to drop with these Parachutes ?
Smaller Chutes can hold up to 3 ounces. Many teams use lottery tickets, coupons, or tickets. The Jumbo Chutes can safely hold a rolled up XL T-shirt or approximately 9 ounces. We recommend you test any items you wish to drop. Chutes are tangle free but prizes can get caught into the top (depending how they are released) causing a near free fall.

Are their items I should not drop?
Hard items or items with sharp edges are not recommended. Soft items need to be used. The parachutes soften the fall, but items are still traveling fairly quick when landing in the crowd. 3oz is the weight limit on smaller chutes. 9oz for the JUMBO Chutes.

Can I print on the undersides of the chutes ?
No, the undersides of the parachutes are covered in mesh.

Can I drop them outdoors?
You can drop them outside, but we recommend testing the chutes for your situation. Chutes are light and would be effected by wind.

How long is the production process?
The timeline for a parachute order is usually 3 weeks, door to door. Timelines start with payment and approved art.

Can I get a RUSH order?
Because the parachutes are made overseas, the 3 week leadtime is firm. We can supplement a printed order with some blank white chutes that can be shipped quickly. This way you can get started with the promotion, and add the custom imprinted chutes in a few weeks. We typically keep 500 or more blanks

Can I get samples?
We have blank white chutes on the store, you can order from there if you would like to see the chutes or use some to for testing.

Are there any extra costs not included with your quote?
No. Our quotes include all costs, unless stated otherwise. This includes the parachute, imprint, set-up, and shipping.

What is a "set-up" for a parachute?
Set ups are required for each different color that is to be imprinted. Your design is broken up into it’s individual colors and a screen is custom-made for each color. The imprint is applied to the parachute one color at a time. This is why parachutes with more colors on the imprint are more expensive than a one color imprinted towel.
